Detector of micro-leaks inside food packages.

Designed to be positioned within modified atmosphere packaging lines, the Sniffer SNF21 makes sure packages are intact and checks the seal on sealed trays, providing the manufacturer and the final consumer with the maximum guarantee.  

The machine is positioned immediately downstream of the packaging machine and analyses all the packages, identifying micro-holes invisible to the naked eye.

Every package is isolated by a bell: if the machine detects an anomalous concentration of helium/CO2 (carbon dioxide), contained in MAP trays, the package being analysed is presumed to be defective/damaged (poor sealing, micro-holes in the film, damage to the tray, sealing areas that are dirty or present product) and subsequently rejected.

They are available with a degree of protection up to IP54.
